 Hi there! I'm Susan, the heart and soul behind SCS Creative Studio—where creativity and connection collide!

With a lifelong love for all things creative, I've dabbled in visual arts, graphic design, performance arts, and event coordination. My journey has been a mix of traditional and modern learning (because why choose just one?)—starting with a Bachelor of Education and a Post Baccalaureate in Leadership, and most recently earning my Tourism Certified Professional (TCP) designation.

In my early days as an educator, I brought theater stages to life, conducted band programs, and organized family days to celebrate culture and diversity. I even dabbled in writing as a columnist and planned workshops for organizations like the Manitoba Canadian Condominium Institute. Somewhere along the way, I found myself performing on stage and in film—because, why not?

Now, as the owner of a startup specializing in social media and event management, I’ve taken my skills to new heights. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to:

• Craft social media magic, from video editing and YouTube channels to strategic branding and media buys.
• Design eye-catching posters, banners, logos, and promotional swag that leave a lasting impression.
• Coordinate unforgettable events, including markets, trade shows, and festivals. (Fun fact: I’ve organized three festivals for the Gimli Red River Métis, teaming up with the Gimli Ice Festival, East Interlake Watershed District, and the RM of Gimli!)
